Job Summary
The Recruitment Assistant supports the Human Resources (HR) department in the end-to-end recruitment process. This role is responsible for administrative tasks, candidate coordination, job postings, and ensuring a smooth hiring experience for applicants and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in posting job advertisements on job portals, social media, and company websites.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare interview documents, assessment forms, and recruitment reports.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate databases.
- Conduct initial phone screenings when required.
- Perform background and reference checks.
- Assist in preparing employment contracts and onboarding documents.
- Respond to candidate inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support recruitment events, job fairs, and campus hiring activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in recruitment or HR support (fresh graduates may apply).
- Familiarity with job portals and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, JobStreet).
- Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
